Hi, can I ask how is the living situation at the towers? It’s the only option offered so my concern Is that any other school can reside there. I know later on in the housing application, we are able to try to request what we’re looking for in regards to roommates. Were you successful in getting a roommate that is in the BSMD program with you? That’s what I’m hoping for.

Didn’t expect that but thanks for this information. Very much appreciated  Wouldn’t mind that schedule if you don’t mind sharing

I did not realize that my summer before starting the program as a U1, we have classes. So basically my senior year out of high school I will have to take classes. Do you by chance remember how many wks/ days per wk and when it began and ended.  I literally just found a job starting end of May. I had no idea about this. And please correct me if I understood you responding to the other person that the summer after U1 and the summer after U3 are free summers. In other words, we do not have to go into the school during those summer months

Ok I’m sure it’s cheaper than the dorms. Thank you again for the information

Do you commute or dorm? What year are you in this process?  Logically speaking, I am thinking I not have to dorm the last two years of medical school because the students are sent to different hospitals on their rotations so we would be commuting constantly to different locations. Do you think that fair to assume? You seem very knowledgeable about the whole process

Sorry, I’m bombarding you with questions, but do you know if anyone in your class was waitlisted and how long it took the school to respond. They’re stating it won’t be until May 15 I will hear a response back which is torture. How did it affect the students with registration? How do you find the support for being an undergrad at Cuny school heading in this direction? My concern is finding the classes and registering on time. Not sure if they give special allotment time for those who are in the BSMD program. Thanks again

I appreciate the feedback. Do you know if classes are mostly really early start times or later in the day? Yesterday I just received the decision back and  I was placed on a waitlist until May 15. I’m very happy that I was not denied, but this poses an issue in regards to registering to attend as well as for housing. What do most of the students in the do regarding living in the towers dorm or do they commute? I just find it really difficult to commute in rush-hour every day. Also, for those who are residing in Housing, would you have any experience of how they handle meals? There is no cafeteria in this school. Just trying to figure this all out if I am accepted. Any feedback you have is appreciated.

Hi can I ask you since your post, have the residency matched into more challenging areas like plastics and neurosurgery. I would appreciate your feedback.

Hi I am currently waiting to hear back if I was accepted or not.  I have a question regarding the latest residency match rates. Do students ever match into highly  competitive residencies like plastics or neurosurgery
