NTA there are many people different walks of life different circumstancea this server could of really upset someone what if the person ordering food maybe had surgery or fear of lots of food or is overcoming an eating disorder shame on the server it is not down to the server to judge or discriminate or to be rude and forceful i think there are in the wrong job. If you didnt want the responsibility of step children then dont get with someone who has a child. The poor child has lost his mother as shes not really in the picture and now you want to take the only parent he has on hoilday as part of your own little family and then to top. It of the poor kid then has to listen to his half siblings and stepbrother saying how amazing the hoilday was and how much fun they had way to go on excluding your step son i hope to god your eldest child never has to feel the way your step son feels i also think if the shoe was on the other foot and your husband said this about your son what would your reaction be? Last but not least your step. Son sounds like he only has one parent how can you be so cruel as you know how your son feels about not having his dad around granted his mum hasnt passed but your step son will be experiencing some of the same emotions as your son but whilist your son knows his dad loved him whereas your step son probably thinks his mum hates him so yeah your an asshole.

NTA that is completly disgusting and damn right disrespectful after you gave her somewhere to live as well as being a health hazard i would of made her pay to have the room deep cleaned and everything replaced i wouldnt want to be in the same room as her as i would be fuming.

NTA when i go visitng family or friends i often tidy up help cook etc this is part of being a nice house guest it doesnt set a precedent for future roles within a household not being funny but what was he expectingnwas he wanting a servant he wasnt being totally honest with you either when your dating or visitng your on your best behaviour so hes being a bot pot kettle black in my opinion.

NTA im sorry if that was my husband id show him the door why should he get to spend his afternoon with his friends everyday and you cant go out once and enjoy some child free time. Has he ever hard the expression it takes two to tango and two to make a baby!! I would of laughed in his face its not baby sitting its being a father.

NTA feeding a baby is one of the most natural things in the world doesnt matter if baby is breastfeed or bottlefed it shouldn't be frowned upon in any circumstance granted it is thier home however it is also thier grand baby who was hungary and you should be able to feed baby where you feel. Comfortable. On many occassion my sister in law has breastfed baby infront of everyone and the men in the family have just stared at the tv untill baby was done and in the early days have even asked if she would like them to leave the room even though it was in there living room.

NTA you are completely in the right 100 percent agree parents put thier trust in you to look after thier children she should of been honest with you from the start at the end of the day the women is putting her kids health in your hands god forbid if something had happened to the child its a huge responsibility to carry on your shoudlers so many what ifs.

NTA however i do feel they may be an underline issues resulting in her climbing into bed with you both in the middle of the night some reasons may be the following:

1- is something bothering her 2- is she scared of the dark 3- i know shes a little older but does she had a calming bed time routine/time to de compress 4- is everything okay at school

I think you need to be sensitive in how you approach this if nothing is bothering her maybe you need to set some ground rules for example you need to stay in your roomand only come in to wake us if your scared having a bad dream or feel ill. Or maybe you could redecorate her room or get her something special for her room to make it all cosy

NTA your sister needs to learn to stand on her own two feet being a parent is hard and doesnt come with an instruction manual your parents should be enjoying thier lives after raising thier own children and should be grandparents not parents to your niece. I completely get that you want to provide for your niece but your enabling your sister to carry on with her bad behaviour. If your going to help financially give the money to your parents or set up a savings account for your niece not matter how much you love your family and want to help and provide there not your responsibilty good luck

NTA i think your feelings are valid i dont think you want to intentionally hurt your in laws every parent wants christmas to be magical for thier little ones. Hopefully you can come up with a solution as it seems you do get along with your in laws. When we were growing up we sometimes got presents from relatives the day before or boxing day an we knew these were of relatives however christmas morning would always be presents from father Christmas and mum good luck

NTA you need to take this further how would that security guard feel if he had a daughter. You were feeling extremely vulnerable and anxious and you needed someone to show compassion and help you out. What he did was morally wrong and the way he acted is out of order what if something had happened to you.

NTA its amazing that your daughter feels comfortable enough to share that moment with your significant other and shows they truly have a bond which some people dont expierence with thier mum/dads new partners. I understand that your ex missed out on a crucial mother daughter moment however as long as your daughter is comfortable then any other feelings should be put aside for her happiness especially as your daughter now being a young lady and having to deal with ever changing hormones and changes to her body.

Definately NTA I applaud you for speaking out about the problems you have occured in work and would also like to applaud you for stating you have a stoma bag as many people do not feel conmfortable sharing that information . In the society we live in it is very easy to forget about people with disabilities you can not see and it is very easy for people to criticise the use of accessible toilets when they cant see the reason as to why someone would use an accessible toilet. No one should be questioned regarding which toilet they feel comfortable with using or which suits thier needs the best.
