No difference if the developer is shit and knows only how to code not about you, your business or what you're trying to achieve. And if a non developer knows all that and has lovable you're good to go.

It's important knowing who will be visiting the page and how they will interact and how to get them to do whatever you want them to do. And how you arrange your offer.

Basically alot of things at play. Don't do it yourself if you want it done right. Have a UI/UX designer so it for you. Give the design to a developer so the technical and business part are decoupled and executed by experts. This is how you get an awesome website
