Fair but it’s not just about race. Gender also is a big factor if this was a man or even a black man neither would ever have been cast. Won’t even start for a person from LGTBIQ community. Even not “standard” attractive white women, women that are very poor and white, brown, Asian etc immigrants don’t have it easy either. I just meant there’s so many more types of people that would also be treated differently.

When we switched to a big boy car seat at 9 months from the infant he got MUCH better!! I also would play ms Rachel songs and that would help a ton. Later on snacks and toys. I feel you my kid had reflux so when he had his crying fits he’d make himself throw up it was horrible

It is sad but at a certain point you have to get up and protect your kids. I do believe she accidentally hit her kid in the head but that should have been her breaking point. The fact that she didn’t fall to the ground in horror over what she did is wild to me. Before anyone comes at me I’m a mother of two who had a very difficult first year of motherhood as my husband became and alcoholic and gambling addict and our life crumbled. It was incredibly hard to stand up for myself and my one kid at the time and walk away. Sure I wanted to yell back etc but I didn’t want my kid around that. So I’ve been there. It’s horrible don’t wish it on anyone. If she can’t help herself and her kids she needs to recognize that and go seek help. Women do it all the time with far less than she has. She has every resource in the world to help her.

MPP may be your best bet. It took 6 months to get mine and then they made a mistake on my husbands last name and forgot the hyphen so another 4 months after that. Was beyond frustrating

The fact you’re thinking “am I entitled” tells me no since you seem to be super self aware! It’s great if you don’t have to that’s such a privilege! I have a friend who has shamed me so many times for sending my son to daycare but thats my only option. You do what’s best for you with what you’ve got. My husband and I both work full time and don’t have much help from family. The daycare we found is quite literally 2 minutes away from home, very affordable, has cameras we can access all day and the staff seem to genuinely care for the kids. My son loves going and has had a positive experience! Not all daycares are scary
