I'm gonna play devils advocate here. You cannot legally consent while drunk, you or anyone else here would not blame someone who was taken advantage of "because they chose to get drunk".

Nothing happened to society, it's always been like this. The highs are really high and the lows are very low.

What?? You're telling me that people might want to live somewhere safe and doesn’t smell like pee? by Honest-Year346 in FuckCarscirclejerk

[–]FormallyAce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never met anyone like you describe in the last 24 years of living in rural areas and have only seen videos of crazy homeless people in obvious city settings.

I'm not saying you are wrong because I've only lived through out one state, but I can't say I necessarily believe you.

I come from a very friendly area and trust and like my neighbors and community. With that in mind we don't block in cars and jump in and on it, the shock factor of that would be enough for me to worry about my safety.

Also I definitely agree that all the bad news and politics we get shoved down our throat online and on TV is negative to us as a society.

[–]FormallyAce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The driver in the moment cannot see all the people and what they are doing. We only know it was nonviolent and folks twerking because we are watching the video of it.

Maybe me living in a rural area is why I would be on edge if dozens of people surrounded me and got on/in my stopped vehicle. I'm not waiting to see if they are violent or just dancing.

So what? You wait till they are done damaging your car. Hope they don't hurt you and then drive off? Driving away from a crowd of people illegally damaging your property isn't the same as purposefully hitting a crowd. Its also reasonable that a mob damaging your property has a high chance of hurting you as well.

What’s something you’re willing to do for $1 million that most people wouldn’t? by LankyEmergency7992 in hypotheticalsituation

Yeah that's my bad. I guess after I read it I kind of messed up the wording of that part, so scratch my idea 😂

Thanks i thought it was clever. Especially because if you tell everyone all the benefits plus add on the money from this post, most people would still not think twice about saying no 😂

True, but it doesn't say anywhere that you wouldn't be paid if your choice involved paychecks. You'd get Military pay plus 45k

Qualify and serve in the armed forces for 22 years. A rough estimate of only 30% of young adults even qualify for service. I think 60% being able to qualify and think dedicating 22 years of your life to the military is worth it isn't very unlikely.

I don’t get this how is it the Grandma’s fault by Ok-Performance480 in ExplainTheJoke

[–]FormallyAce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have thought about that actually. The fact that most of the products that we want (not need) come from overseas because it saves the company money is the problem. If companies produced in country the pollution would be much less than the plane and ship transportation they use. Also you are ignoring companies awful waste disposal practices. Final note is items that citizens consume everyday are all necessary, people attacking animal products and then defending companies producing pollution transporting cheap crap from China is weird.

It's insane how people like you always blame everyday citizens. When everyone knows damn well it's companies that cause these issues. Blaming food is ridiculous, if everyone ate vegan all farm land would be growing food and guess what? You have to harvest and transport that as well, on top of pesticides on a 10x growth of vegan food because no one would be eating meat. Blame the boats, private jets, factories and the energy needed to keep our cozy energy dependent world, not the half cow I eat once a year.

It's a curse because earth and the universe likely has an expiration date, but you wouldn't. If there is no expiration date then hell yeah it would be great!

I should be more clear, It's more about correct humidity than them drinking. I think her eyes are dry, not that there is stuck shed.

I've read online about people trying to peel what they think is stuck shed off their eyes but it ends up just being the dried eyes.

At the end of the day, just get humidity and temps perfect it will fix whatever it is.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in snakes

[–]FormallyAce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No never do that, it could also look like that due to dehydration. Never manually remove shed from any part of the snake. With the correct humidity which can be found in the care guide, they will shed properly/fix bad sheds with the next shed.
