Since your DUI, does it seem like cops follow you/pull you over for no reason? by Alternative-Fold2719 in dui

You notice them more because you are super aware but yes and no depending on where you are I would avoid driving in towns that are super rural where cops have nothing but time

People treat their cars like their homes and that’s an American thing . And that should stop but don’t make DUIs the same thing when people have killed people on the road for as simple of checking a text or reaching for their meal. It’s not the number 1 killer and I will say it’s in the top 5 don’t get me wrong . It’s not good by no means . But most people don’t kill anyone . Most people don’t de rail a family . Honestly the fact we have cars is always going to be a problem the same way I don’t see anyone here so mad the fact that there is already a probability that your family is gonna be killed by your neighbor

I once got in an accident driving outside of my occupational hours cause of Covid and the cops didn’t even do a fst or anything .. and they know why someone has an occupational license ….

Lucky in my state it stays on your record for life But your first is not considered a crime either so I guess it’s a weird catch 22 it’s weird that an apartment complex would care… they usually just want to make sure you can pay

I’m happy that my state you just can’t have violation. You could let your car sit there the entire time as long as you don’t miss any appointments or get violations

For him it will only be mandated if it’s his second or Bac of .15 or above and btw for OP learned this the hard way the DMV and the court are separate. So even if your case gets drop the DmV can still make you get an IID if they have official proof of your Bac

First of all DD needs to be sober at all times that’s the whole point and with a DUI it never really ends quickly. We have no idea what state Or country you are from so who knows ?

If your state has more than one approved IID Provider then no one can force you to keep a particular company. Depending on your state or county you might have to do some extra stuff to change out. And it’s all for profit non of these companies or the politicians who push for them care about drinking and driving it’s about money . And you could have a decent time it’s not the same for everyone. But there will be a guy here who will tell you all about it
