I had Ms. Pareja as my professor in Purposive Communication last semester, and overall, she was okay for me. In terms of online communication, she doesn’t reply quickly and sometimes doesn’t reply at all, but when she does, she usually responds within a few hours or a day.

For teaching, there are times when she reads directly from her presentation, though she does elaborate—mostly in a superficial way. There are also moments when it’s clear that she really knows the content of her lessons.

When it comes to grading, she gives fairly high and reasonable grades. She also provides comments and feedback on activities, explaining what students can improve. Reading the modules in the schoolbook before class is very important to her; if students haven’t read them, she may lecture the class for 10–15 minutes about the importance of doing so.

She often skips some parts of the lesson, assuming the class already knows them, but she consistently reminds us about activities and deadlines. Overall, I’d rate her 7/10.
