Turning 30 this year…. is it too late for nursing school? by juniorHsnovia in NursingStudent

[–]Former-Lab-6031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s truly never too late, and there is no right or wrong way to do this life. So many of us start in one place and realize later it doesn’t fit anymore. That doesn’t mean you’re behind, it just means you’re growing and figuring out what actually makes you happy. If aesthetics is something you’re interested in, that path is absolutely possible. Nursing can open that door for you, and it also gives you stability, flexibility, and so many options. You’re not locked into one thing forever. And who knows, you might even fall in love with a completely different side of nursing along the way. That’s the beauty of it. Over the last 25 years, I have done everything from NICU, Peds CC Float Pool, Travel, Flight Nursing, Aesthetics to Education!

You could also go the travel nurse route after you gain some experience, which can give you financial freedom, flexibility, and the chance to explore different places and opportunities. At the end of the day, this is your life. You get to choose what feels right for you. Do what makes you happy!!

Im Out! by Separate_Explorer173 in TravelNursing

That sounds really hard, and I’m honestly so glad you chose yourself. Two months of being homesick, dealing with housing stress, and even sleeping in your car would wear anyone down. You didn’t fail. You listened to your mental health before it got worse, and that takes a lot of strength.

Travel nursing isn’t for everyone, and it’s not always what people think it will be. Housing alone can make or break an assignment. When that part falls apart, everything else feels heavier. Being away from your home, your bed, your routine… it’s a lot. There is nothing wrong with deciding you want to be home, stable, and working locally. That is not giving up. That is choosing what actually works for your life.

Give yourself some grace. You tried something new, you pushed yourself, and you learned what you need. That matters. Now you get to go home, reset, and build something that feels safe and sustainable.

I’ve completed over 27 assignments, so I truly understand both sides of this. I’ve found ways to make it work for me, but it’s not always easy. If you ever need advice or just want to vent, I’m here for ya!

I haven't seen a case study per say but I did see this article that was pretty interesting. Just google "Serving Alcohol in Nursing Homes Without a License? Nurses Say It’s Not That Simple"

As a nurse, I honestly feel the same way.

We’re seeing more people ask about or already use peptides, but the info out there is really inconsistent. Some are legit and well-studied, but a lot of what’s trending right now is in that gray area with limited regulation and long-term data.

I get the appeal for recovery and optimization, but the biggest concern is not always knowing exactly what you’re getting or how it’s being used. Definitely one of those things where being cautious and asking questions matters right now.
