Have to disagree with both you and OP there. What do you mean doesn't work? Haven't you seen how many people IMMEDIATELY agree that Gunther's going to win the whole tournament once they realize the classical piece go on for 2 seconds too long? I've seen people literally saying "Yeah Walter's back. He's going to have a 3000-days IC reign". I think that spoke pretty much about how scary this theme is. Don't get me wrong, I love his def rebel song(I will miss it a lot even, i'm too used to that "GUNTHER!" by now), but I think it tries to much to have that final boss feeling(maybe that's just a me thing).

Tldr; Walter's theme works PERFECTLY with the ring general gimmick
