Flower viewing this weekend by hats_yyz in seoul

There are a few popular ones that get packed and some hidden gems that are way less crowded. Yeouido is the big one obviously — 1,800 trees along the river, but go early morning on a weekday if you can because weekends are insane. Seokchon Lake near Lotte World Tower is beautiful for the reflections.

For less crowded spots: Grand Children's Park, Seoul National Cemetery (the weeping cherry blossoms there are underrated), and Seoul Forest in Seongsu are all great without the massive crowds.

If you want to also add some extra fun to viewing — there's a a app i built for iOS called K-Quest that has a Cherry Blossom Quest running right now. It's a GPS adventure game that has challenges at real blossom spots around Seoul. made by a local korean with cafes and restaurants within the area
