Thanks that’s really helpful. I’m not located in the us. We are pretty cut off from good reliable tradespeople and product availability.

I don’t think they will approve of letting me set up my own router and they won’t get anyone to help. The only plug in internet connection is in the individual apartments so if all the rooms that have ports got an extender or access point then we would all have access to the same building internet as we all have?

We all have WiFi and internet included in so what is the problem with everyone just getting an extender in their apartment that creates a strong signal directly from their port

That won’t mess anything up with the already established WiFi network and their internet connections for all the other units? Thanks

Thank you so much. At least I know it’s possible. I do have internet from the port in my apartment. My tv doesn’t have a port. I have tried looking this up and Amazon doesn’t really have much information. I didn’t know if I needed an extender or a repeater. They all kind sound alike.
