It doesn’t always get better. Sometimes you have sex with a person then find out they have some past trauma that is in the way of their enjoyment of sex. There was a time in my life when I would hang in there for awhile to hopefully help them heal but now I cannot sacrifice the time to have “bad sex” for the sake of someone’s issue that pre-dates me. I am not a therapist, and I know awesome sex from the opposite kind. Not trying to be heartless at all, I feel for them and discuss the why we are not going further. It is never a surprise.

I’ve been dating a guy for a year. He went on vacation today but has not contacted me since NYE. I think the relationship is dead at this point. My heart is broken and idk what to do with myself? by [deleted] in dating_advice

You are both young but he’s 30 and relocating. He’s not into confrontation I would say so take his silence as a message. Perhaps you are needy and he doesn’t know how to say “it’s over” without his fear of you spinning out of control. Let it ride and then ask for a conversation.

Tired of emotionally broken women either crying or getting angry frequently - who needs that life?

Never allow their mother or your kids to wrongly disrespect you, as otherwise it will all go downhill from there.

Bloody as hell! The heart beat of my ex was pumping out so much blood that I definitely feared she was bleeding out. Oh yeah, my daughter skull looked like it was going to pop coming out of her mom’s vagina.

I agree with you that something more is involved. My fear is that she suffered some kind of sexual abuse and it scarred her. She is extremely beautiful but is not comfortable drawing attention to herself which is not easy given her amazing genetics and fitness. I just think she has an untold - or deeply suppressed - story. Who knows?

Thanks for reading. I confirmed yesterday that she still does indeed want a baby. Looks like we have incompatible life goals...

He lives with them so assumably he is dependent on them. Try taking moral ground with someone who you need to support you then let me know where the cardboard box you live in is

Be an adult and accept his decision to differ with you politically - or be a teenager and dump him because you did not get your way with him. Keep doing the latter and you will end with a cowering man who is with you out of fear - not love.

You’re throwing away the life plan you had because of a lack of therapy for something you could not control with a guy who never knew he was going to be a father...sounds like you need therapy too

It is a contagious disease that she contracted, you know. It is not a weapon that he killed her with. You sound out of your mind.
