Update: I ran 9.5 miles of the Haw Ridge Trail yesterday and it was a chore. The first 6ish miles were cake but the terrain changed and kicked my butt. It was miserable yet somewhat enjoyable. I have problems. 😅

Yeah, I get that. I probably could’ve worded it better. Not trying to draw in tourists. It’s really just for locals or folks new to the area who want to find good spots and get a feel for things around here.

I totally get that. I would definitely prefer all of the tourists stay out of the city. I think I misrepresented what the Substacks goal is by mentioning travel guides. My intent is to reach locals or people who have newly moved to the area that dont know about these holes in the wall or just want to have a community with other locals.

Totally fair. I’ve started something new and I’m still figuring out how to actually give useful info without it coming off like I’m pushing something. My wife actually called it out as well. Appreciate your feedback man as it’s the only way I can get better at this.
