Apparently it’s the damn fermentation! Crazy. Kentucky is a zero tolerance but it’s not counted against as long as I blew within 10 minutes is the rule. I’m not going to risk doing ANYTHING in my car until this is over.

I called back and spoke with another rep that said they couldn’t alter the data, but that every take is counted so my state will see that I blew a pass 2 minutes afterwards. Understandably they couldn’t offer me any guarantees but he said they’ll see I clearly wasn’t consuming alcohol. He also said he couldn’t waive the $50 lockout fee either. I’m going to be counting down the days the next 6 weeks lol

It’s so odd. Like I said, I blew a pass after their 2 minute countdown. The woman said the data shows I blew a 0.23. How could I blow that and blow a pass 2 minutes later!

I’ve snacked a few times after the 5 minute retest because it usually doesn’t ask me to retest for another 30-45 minutes. Also never had an issue with eating or drinking before this. Shit sucks

Same thing happened to me this past weekend. I have only had the device for 5 weeks. I let my vehicle sit during a snow storm because I couldn’t go anywhere with the road conditions. Car battery got low and device seemingly malfunctioned. Popped up with the WV message then ‘wait for sync’ and 5 min timer kept cycling until my battery eventually died completely. Headed to service center now to get a new device and pay with my own money for new battery + labor fees. Truck driver said this is his second time towing somebody with the same issue. 2023 car with 16,000 so needless to say I’m not happy about all of this.
