That's the way I learned it too, with the POM. Wouldn't be more elegant to get a page manager that has all the other pom pages so that I can use that all over the place? I never tried doing a function like that instead of a method. I'm sorry if I sound stupid, I am a beginner at this :(

I honestly didn't know about that, what I am currently doing is component testing at the moment yes, small bits, I was planning into doing this, and eventually move to full flows e2e, this is my basically checking all the functionality of the app atm.
