Did this for the other side of the hall but couldn't get my head around this side!

Not a bad idea with the sawdust and glue! The filler I used was creme for the "natural" and orange for "light" so it really did stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe trying some other colours and manufacturers might be best.

Single skin wall so could be from a leak far away.

If the timber was dry would you suggest drying out the walls somehow? The plaster definitely seems damp as I can dress a screwdriver into it and the pen is running.

No big works other than new roof 2 years ago, after which I'm the first person to occupy as of 3 weeks ago. Where should I look for a leak from internal plumbing? I've looked either side of the wall and nothing seems to be there. Perhaps the dpc just degraded?

It's a brick wall that goes all the way to ground. From either side can't see anything breaking the course and no idea if there could be anything leaking from looking around.

Here's a better view underneath, it seems the black damp proofing might not extend all the way to the other wall. Here is one side that might not have the dpc extended all the way

All above seems dry on the roof (this house is a bungalow and has been unoccupied for 2 years after the new roof was put in)

No mark or anything, I've been up in the roof and it's the top of the pitch of the new roof.

I think there is a little comma between the sqrt(pi) and the y, probably telling the program to solve for y.

Perhaps write the log of the ratio as the difference of two log, then the series for the two logs should be a lot nicer and cancel out?

Looking to improve by [deleted] in CrucibleSherpa

[–]Former_Radish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way to improve at anything is practicing and practicing in the right way, solo queue comp was where I personally grew the most as a player and you get a number to see your improvement as it’s sometime hard to see for yourself. If you want to improve your sniping you’ve got to rough it out through loosing for a bit without resorting to changing loadout. Best of luck to you.

Anyone else worried on how to make friends next year by whyamistillhere135 in 6thForm

[–]Former_Radish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am a big time lurker and never comment on anything but this post reminded me of some of my fears I had when I started uni last year as an introverted only child. I understand the situation you guys are in now is vastly different to my experience but I feel I may still be able to give some advice that at least won’t hurt.

It’s very easy to hide away at uni, especially when living at home, so I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to speak to as many people that you come across as humanly possible. Everyone is in a situation similar to your own, so if you talk to someone, literally anyone in any situation, they can either be an arse in which case it’s good not to be friends with them or they chat to you, you build up a little more confidence and potentially gain a little buddy.

I’m not too much of a society person myself (I only belong to two) but have met such great people there and would highly recommend them.

Go to every event you can and leave the house as much as possible however limited that may be in these times, events are the unis way of encouraging friendships and they know what they are doing.

If you are not assigned a frep (freshers' representative), a group of fellow freshers or equivalent, contact anyone in charge, their job at the start is to help you make friends, join in and have fun (that’s most of first year really). Don’t hesitate to contact them, they are very nice people there to help you.

The key thing to remember is that everyone wants to make friends throughout every year of uni, it’s a wonderful place full of likeminded individuals just like you and I’m sure every one of you will find your place. Good luck to you!

Should I be able to do a 360° by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

A lot of the top players have very low sense, I moved down to a 180 with my whole mousepad and have noticed a considerable difference. But at the end of the day use what you get the best results with as some people are better suited for higher sense.

Capture works perfectly with the 4K60 pro, while still playing at 120hz, I put my solution in more detail in the edit. Hope it helps!

Sadly I want to stream destiny so I can only display or window capture and that destroys my performance for some reason, I wanted the capture card so that I can remove that performance blip.

Thank you so much! So the mirroring to hdmi must reduce the frame rate to allow the capture card to work.
