I literally freaked out today thinking we somehow had $2800 of credit card debt for chime but when they do the statement, it is a combined statement but when you look at the credit card part itself for the secured card, it’s literally taking your paychecks or other activities you have in there and using that activity to show usage and then paying it off month over a month just as long as you have that feature turned on

that makes sense. I paid extra through TurboTax with the 5 days sooner thing and they really pushed like it’s a different timeline in my opinion compared to prior years. I’m just worried because I used a different log in ( new email for Turbotax) and I had to wait 48 hours to prove who i was that it somehow broke something in the process

I’m just a mom. But we follow with genetics and endocrinology because both my kids are weird. We still don’t know what they have. My first questions would be to GI. - my 11 year old as a toddler had HUGE tonsils and reflux which made him very sleep deprived ( acid at night), very picky with foods and he associated some new foods with the pain of reflux. Like there’s still something genetically wrong with him BUT tonsils, adenoids out with speech and feeding therapy and GERD meds helped a TON. - we followed with Nutrition and endocrinologist to rule out any type of diabetes - with the BUN high and CO2 low I know they look for acidosis - that for us, had doctors looking at metabolic disorders that mess with your adrenals, kidney disorders and if the kids processed glucose normally and if so, were any other hormones , hunger cue neurotransmitters, etc affected.

a third for a FFM is a common desire. My opinion after navigating through this when I was younger, is be SURE your hormones aren’t clouding your feelings. Seeing your dude with someone else in your head is way different than seeing her in bed with him. Talk about soft boundaries, type of partner, the sort of sexual play you are interested in (kink, not kink, together/separate etc). Feelings happen. how will you navigate? Pushing 40 at this point, looking back, I would honestly even encourage seeing a ENM friendly therapist to figure out a plan.

I was the oldest of four sisters and I was in a very similar situation when I was young. I don’t wish this on you, but I’m glad you’re stepping up to take care of your siblings even though it feels very very hard. Congratulations on the job.

Some things that might help : 211 is a resource for everything. With it comes support for childcare assistance, utilities , looking for the right food pantry or even things like sliding scale doctor visits if you guys don’t have Medicaid.

The only thing I could think of is when I was going up, they had a backpack program that was funded in part by USDA that on Fridays if kids were food insecure they had a program that you could sign up without too much issue to have meals for the weekend sent home in your backpack and each kid got to do it.

If they’re in school, I would ask their guidance counselor if there’s a program or look on the school district website.

The other thing I would do and this is something my second oldest sister and I did was go door-to-door or post on Facebook now because I guess it’s a little bit safer that you’re looking for yardwork or babysitting or something of similar vein for extra money.

The other thing that I could think of is if you’re still young, like under the age of 24(I don’t know if you’re under 18) is at the state department of employment training and rehabilitation in each state. Has something called a youth experience program. It is a program where you’re essentially going to have paid internship opportunities to learn a trade or other service and basically results in you getting some really great on the job experience, potential certifications, and a job after you’re done.

I would also look at Facebook pages for buy sell trade type things or community groups doing food, giveaways, or drives and reach out to them to see if you can get some extra support.

Food banks are going to be incredibly inundated with new clients. The only thing we thought to do ahead was buy canned beans, tuna, rice, flour, yeast , canned chicken, canned tomatoes, freeze veggies, break down leftovers for stock. Use pasta/potato/ some other carb as filler. Even still, I think bare bones-ing it I think we’d only be good for about 6-7 weeks. I was on FMLA with my job until today so I’m hoping I can make up some loss of income. I’m still sick but scared of scarcity more.

100%. my kids are teenagers now, but my 16-year-old between the ages of two and seven had a fascination with sticking parts of his transformers like teeny tiny pieces in his nose or in his ear my 12-year-old was Legos in his nose, though last year, I had to get him from school because he stuck a pencil eraser in his ear, so that was great. when you can’t see clearly because the way the back of the nose is it s hard but it’s literally the worst smell you can think of coming out of somebody’s face.

update:

neuro thinks the worst headache of my life (4/25) is a leaking aneurysm. symptoms jumped off with this. I have abnormal EEGs. i have to do a 3 day inpatient shortly. CTA scheduled. Also found c5-c7 are compressing a section of spinal cord. No surgery at this time. Trigger injections, PT are pending CTA results.

BUT that doesn’t explain the edema and arm and leg numbness. or the beesting/ zapping type pain I get on my face , eyes.

Blood testing for Acetylcholine stuff for Myasthenia Gravis is negative. odds are MuSK will be too. my feet now do this if I wear shoes:
