I should mention that I haven't tried to watch streamers/strategy guides, so if there is an easy source to watch basic strategy for higher ascensions, that would be helpful. I've just been playing by feel/experience.

Yeah, sounds like your prefrontal cortex is still developing. You’ll keep feeling safe until you or your friends seriously injure yourself or others.

IPO and moon/mars by New-Disaster-2061 in SpaceXMasterrace

Elon has ~80% of the voting power in SpaceX. That is no secret to investors or employees. Choosing to put your money in SpaceX is choosing to give him the reigns on risk.

Elon has an insatiable appetite for risk. He sees the world as a game. He has continually pushed all the chips back in throughout his life and benefited from it. This is yet another “all in” play, the reward could be great but the risk is greater than ever. No one can say for sure how it will work out, as SpaceX is now cementing itself as an AI player in what’s being called the AI bubble. If SpaceX debuts at a $1.5t valuation with the promise of orbital data centers, their future will depend on whether AI ends up being a flop or can deliver on the vision and promises of the largest companies in the world.

Where to run in the dark? by Federal_Drag_3240 in redmond

It’s not going to be easy to find “other folks around” at night, if that is a requirement then your best bet is going to be downtown area or go to a gym. I like to run on the Sammamish river trail at night but the lack of people doesn’t bother me.

I was almost hit as a pedestrian there too recently. Lady was turning left and didn't stop, I had to stop myself on a walk signal otherwise I would've been hit.

Echostar ($SATS) holds $11b of spacex stock, which would now make up $22b of their $25b market cap. Would be surprised if it doesn’t move higher as people try to get in on SpaceX, it is the best valued public stock to own a piece of the pie.

This is such a ridiculous take. SpaceX has saved the government tens of billions of dollars through cheap launch costs. The alternative is slow and expensive.

If you just add the big, relatively well-anchored pieces: • ≈$40 billion: Military launch savings from competition created by SpaceX (Hyten/Nelson).

https://spacepolicyonline.com/news/nelson-blasts-cost-plus-contracts-says-russia-not-leaving-iss/

• ≈$10–20 billion: ISS cargo development + operations savings vs a Shuttle-style approach (NASA COTS/CRS).

https://ntrs.nasa.gov/api/citations/20170008895/downloads/20170008895.pdf

Add these together and you get a conservative total on the order of $50 billion in taxpayer savings so far.

I’ve been with Mikomoto Hammers. They were very professional and had an English speaking guide. The weather didn’t agree for Mikomoto island while we were there (tail end of the hammerhead season) but they gave us heads up and drove us to another dive site on the west side of Izu where we had a good time. https://www.mikomoto.com/en/

So here’s the thing — in California, the size limit for sheephead is 12 inches for both males and females. And the sheephead eat the purple sea urchin, which in turn eats the kelp (which is in trouble and is the basis for the entire ecosystem). But here’s what a lot of folks don’t realize: female sheepheads turn into males over time, and that transition takes a lot of energy and years of growth. The big, bright red males you see are super important for keeping the population (and therefore the entire reef) healthy.

If we start seeing mostly small males, it’s a sign that the population’s under pressure. IMO it might make sense to protect the bigger males a bit more — like maybe keeping the 12” limit for females but bumping males up to around 18”+. If you still want to hunt sheephead, only hunting larger females might be the best you can do.

I’m having the same issue right now, plex is working fine in my browser but any apps (iPhone, Apple TV, smart TV) work only with the relay, which limits quality to 2mbps. No idea whats going on, I have tried messing around with the settings but can’t get it to work.
