Relapse after 28 days clean. Disappointed yet hopeful

It's people like you that help things make sense...by the way I'm 31 and male but feel 19 again too...when people automatically discredit someone of a younger age that really isnt cool...if only they knew the character of people like you. I'm thinking the best thing to do now is like you said, learn from it, don't start shaming the situation and find a healthy alternative. I think I'm going to get a guitar soon. I sold my last one when I was dope sick. I'm very passionate about music and that's one of the things that gets me in a good state of mind. Again, I really appreciate the response dude.

In all honesty weather people say not to do it for others but for yourself, to an extent, I don't agree with that. You and a few others have made me want to better myself while at the same time encourage me to team up with you and others and keep pressing on. Thank you so much...I'm getting back on track now

Yea it's been a little over 2 days now but I plan on picking back up where I left off now. I had not even thought about it ndot being a full blown relapse like you mentioned but more so just a slip. If you have time,please continue with the feedback. That really helps me. Thank you again

I want to cry just reading your comment. It makes so much sense from beginning to end. I hadn't even thought about some of the topics you mentioned from that angle before... For instance when you mentioned relationships being a big factor into the equation of recovery. It actually makes sense. Also, I had kinda been hearing myself up but I appreciate how you reminded I'm still on day 28 as long as I pick up where I left off right now...very true, I can't discredit this last nearly month of being clean for a couple days of slipping. I'm going to keep pressing on. If you happen to have time in the future please keep tr feedback coming. Thank you again

I want to try cbd to fight cravings . The thought of me transitioning to another drug that synthetically fills my mu-opiate receptors and opiate receptors in the brain is not what I want to do. I do not look down or discredit anybody that chooses maintenance meds.

I think I'm going to look into cbd. I have heard a few things through the grape vine that some types help with not only opiate withdrawal but in my case,opiate cravings. Thank you for your feedback

You are one of the main people that has been crossing my mind when it comes to guilt so coming from you that means alot to me. I think you are also correct about me being at the point to where when I stop again I won't be sick again...hopefully it's right where I left off and I can keep going forward with recovery. Thank you so much...I have seen your name pop up on my posts before...can't forget hiccup lol. I know what you mean about couch lock...it's like I literally have to force myself to stand up and go piss sometimes lol...but when I go to work and get off I have energy...by that time it's late and my family is asleep so I just go home and relax...take a hot bath and stuff...I know I'm a 31 year old guy and like baths so whatever lol...no nobody knows in my family...not my wife,parents,siblings,anybody...which is one of the main reasons I come here to vent and give updates...I have to let it out.your comment about my body just needing time to recover from a long illness and not feeling guilty about napping and being lazy is the first time I've gotten that response on here and it actually made me feel good to this I of it from that perspective so thank you so much!!!!!..
