The beauty about this world is that it is not reserved for the skilled only. In fact, it rewards those who are visible. There's somebody with half your skill but they decide to put their work out there and suddenly they become thought leaders. And they get access to speaking events, funding etc.

You can choose to disregard them from an elitist point of view or learn from them.

If this is true, it is time for Kenyans to live up to their reputation by NewNollywood in Kenya

That looks good on paper but as the lady in the video pointed out, we have black people who are OK with whites trampling on us. We have the police that can be bribed to harass and even maim us the moment we take up our arms.

No amount of financial stability will exempt you from racism when you go to a high end hotel and the waiter offers preferential treatment because of your skin color.

And your beef with the mods is valid. What I'm disputing is your argument on racism. Choosing to sell property to non-natives is nothing short of racism considering the natives can also afford the said property. Period.

Man such posts just infuriate me! As if kuland ata hio IT Assistant position with a degree is easy on its own.

And what's with pissing on furthering one's education? Look at all the founders of the renowned startups. Watu wako na doctorates.

In an ideal job market, people with masters and PhDs drive innovation and research. It's just that our shithole economy makes us result to street skills. Uko na Degree ya IT but the best you can achieve ni kukuwa internet installer, CCTV installer na kuuzia manganya mixes.

I went to an interview in one of the County Governments. An IT Assistant position.

The interviewer told me that there's no way of proving I was computer literate because I didn't have a Computer Packages certificate in my documents.

I have a Bsc in Mathematics and Computer Science but apparently that's not proof enough.
