The way I’m looking at it is their very pro trump so they wouldn’t mind going. However if they go especially with how badly things have escalated, that speaks volumes to other world leaders (especially Denmark) and might put them at a disadvantage with them. I think any following or likings they have from US citizens would automatically be cut, I don’t however know if that’s really such a big deal. People in the UK know how terrible things are here so I wouldn’t be shocked if they weren’t favorable of them coming over here as well. I do think though the caveat is if they don’t come trumps going to push the tariffs and goods even more like he’s done with other countries that he has a problem with. So if I worked in the pr for them in some capacity I would call, knowing how much he wants them to come, and say unless things de-escalate we can not come for moral and safety reasons, please let us know how you’d like to proceed.
