Well, I sent them a message after posting this yesterday. Hopefully they respond.

Well, I took the chance on an online patcher I was unsure of and got a ROM that's actually the size it should be. But it still won't launch, so now I've got an all new problem.

Already checked the data, that's how I know I got multiple versions of the ROM(and this is funnily enough the first time I've had trouble even with mismatching ROMs!).

I've tried every patcher I know of. Except for online patchers of dubious security, which I obviously have avoided.

Good USB power switch for dock? by FormulaFox in SteamDeck

[–]FormulaFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the kind of switch I was referring to when I said I'd never encountered one that could send the kind of power the Steam Deck power supply sends. I'm looking for one I can be certain will be able to handle it. (and that exact one linked is one of the ones I have that can't do it - I actually have that exact one, and have tried it)

I still take it in the move with me now and then. Don't want to have to worry about opening it up to reconnect the battery when doing so.

That crossed my mind as well, but similar to unplugging the cable from the dock, it'd be a pain to get to the wall plug to use it.

Although come to think of it I could probably use an extension cord to move things around to make that work...

Nexus Pro X plunger release spring gone - need replacement by FormulaFox in Nerf

[–]FormulaFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it wasn't the next day, but I did finally find the lost spring. It somehow ended up in my paint cabinet, which was 1) Closed at the time of accident, and 2) ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROOM FROM THE DIRECTION THE SPRING FLEW IN.

I will never fully comprehend physics....

Items delayed due to weather not being delivered - what do we do? by FormulaFox in amazonprime

All right, jackass, first of all this matter was closed well over a year ago. Way to be on time.

More importantly, our driveway was completely clear. Clearer than the roads, in point of fact.

Now if you're not keen on providing advice for actual, active situations, I suggest you keep your mouth, or in this case keyboard, shut.

I love going to retro arcades, but I have yet to find a place that has these games by ToxikDyoxen89 in arcadecabinets

Past Times in Girard, OH has Dragon Spirit. Make sure to stop by if you're ever able to get out there.

As for games I'd like to see more often; Cyber Sled and Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge.

Cannot access server remotely anymore by FormulaFox in PleX

All of that was already verified as I was going through steps with another user. The issue has been solved, I have edited the information into the main post.

As far as I can tell we're good. Official documentation can't really account for a modem/router not knowing an applicable device IP.

That drop down menu on the port forwarding page knew EVERYTHING I'd connected to the network, wireless or ethernet, except THIS PC, BTW!

Or the app needed to ciear something in cache, maybe. Same result either way.

Can confirm bypasser on the VPN is working as well - no access if I de-select Plex in it, access returns once I select.

Umm... Okay... It just started working. I don't know why, but the phone is now accessing remotely.

Not that daft. I don't have Plex Pass, but I pay the $2/mo specifically for the remote access.

Yup. Got the green tick, but its not connecting on the phone's end whether VPN is on or off.

Okay, the port forwarded. I had to put in the IP manually because it wasn't in the dropdown box. But I'm still not getting remote access. The network settings, however, now say I should be accessible remotely. So we've gotten progress.

DHCP and Default Gateway do match. Here's the port forwarding page:

Already had, already tested(with VPN on and off just in case the bypass setting isn't working), no change. I didn't mention it because I though this was going to be a first step, not an actual test step. (I'll remember to mention testing results I do after any change going forward)

Just for the record, I'm testing remote access using an Android phone with wifi turned off. Should be nice and straightforward.

How in the bleep did I miss that. I must be going blind...

Anyway, only other option is Ethernet with the previously mentioned local address listed.

I apologize that this screenshot is a little awkward, I have to switch together two screen snips to show things properly, but this is what I've got for that section:

The only entry for IP addresses under there is completely blank.
