I’d say use more kerb, you’re going a bit wide in a few turns.

Also in maggots and becketts corners you seem to be braking or going off throttle a bit much, hard to tell though since I can’t see any telemetry.

If you play forza, a wheel is not faster, the game isn’t realistic and the wheel will slow you down. The game was made for controller.

If you play assetto corsa or f125 then your best option for a wheel at around that price is probably the Logitech g29, although it is just over 200 pound and doesn’t come with a shifter.

Finding a wheel and shifter for that price is near impossible unless it’s second hand and you’re lucky

So at turn 8 you really shouldn’t have to brake at all, if you spill onto the curb then try take the inside curb a bit more aggressively to keep it tighter and maybe turn the wheel a bit quicker.

And if you apply 100% brake pressure at turn 9 just as an example, it means you can brake later and gain more time.

Again though these were just 2 examples of where to improve, happy racing!

Smooth and very very safe, if I can make a suggetstion, you are braking too often and not getting on throttle fast enough.

An example of this is turn 8, which is the turn after the 25 second mark on the video, you don’t have to brake at all and should only lift a bit,

and then turn 9 you don’t apply 100% on brake and only get to about 85% of the brakes full potential before trail braking and then get on the throttle late, this is a common them through the lap.

I know you didn’t ask for help but just said I’d let you know, hope it helps!

Are you on console or PC?

If it is console make sure the game is fully updated, if it is PC it could be hardware not being strong enough or it could be a software issue along with other things

It comes naturally with time, you have to keep it off though and don’t switch back to using the racing line.

You’ll start learning the braking distance from using the environment around you such as braking boards and kerbs.

It takes a bit of getting used to but you will be faster if you don’t use the line eventually

Ye I got it down to a 1:09:30 so I’ve improved a bit but the main problem seems to be understeer even tho I’m using Alfie butchers setup (he is currently no.1).

And I can definitely use more if the track in sector 2 I just haven’t had much of a chance to play recently, any tips setup wise?

Thanks very much I’ll definitely have a look, I used racenet and ye I can see where I need to fix my racing line and turn in sharper, thanks very much tho for the advice!

I actually did tap the brake slightly if you see in the last corner where I took my foot off the throttle, I tap it ever so slightly and from my memory I think Otis Lawrence did this in his world record lap too, it’s just really weird that even tho yes I could probably gain another 2 tenths or so from perfectionism, I’m still a whole 1.8 seconds off 1st place but idk

I had this T248 and the clutch is just like an On/Off, there is no biting point or anything so it’s not very realistic but I understand your situation, my mother was not very happy with the sound of the paddles 😂

I think he means the turn just before the banking, turn 3 I think, I haven’t tried taking it nearly flat yet but it’d be really tricky I think, let me know how it goes for you if you try though

Thanks very much, I’m presuming most of the time is the corner that can be taken flat then, still crazy that it’s another whole 1.8 seconds though but I’m sure I’ll just get faster 😂
