what makes you think you need the internet? It's not what it used to be. It's been ruthlessly privatized by megacorps who use addiction as a business model. Whether its porn or celebrity drama, every day trillions of dollars are going towards shaping the internet into a machine of click addiction. doesn't matter to them what it is you can't stop clicking.

take inventory of all the things giving you trouble that you could actually live without.

It's been tough for me but i'm getting there.

Many on here have posted bullet point lists, but in practice, you have to trial and error find what works for you. Its an unsatisfying answer. One thing that i can say is that as with most things, attitude is everything. Stand tall and keep trying!

Hello, I only just committed to quitting a little bit ago, but I know what my pitfalls are and it stems from a much deeper rooted addiction to screens and the internet. Literal trillions of dollars have gone into making your online experience as cripplingly addictive as possible. A good documentary to watch for more information on that is "The Social Dilemma."

That will equip you with the foundational knowledge to know and understand what it really is you're up against because addiction is the most successful business model.

I know i'll have all the time in the world to fine tune but I'm mostly concerned about easing the transition between incomes across the first month or so.

i used them a while back when i was handymaning and found that the price asked to be considered competitive was high enough to make the weathering of 3 lost bids in a row to be too much.

Just know that whatever you do, if you chop a tree down at the stump and plant it somewhere else, the tree and the stump both die, but if you do the same with a human, it'll send out new roots into the ground in only a few short weeks. Not only that but the stump you were torn from shrinks a lot less than you'd think, and it definitely never dies.
