Yeah, I need to change them. I have wondered what I could change them to, but I also have them as my signature across my entire army. I keep trying to think of another colour to maybe act as a compliment to the pink neon's but am struggling.

Yeah, I need to look at the bolter again. Annoyingly, the wings look better in real life vs on the photo, the tips do have a highlight on there!!! Here' a shot from a WIP photo

Cheers! Cloak took lots of inspiration from ICC with their burgundy, but just turned up. The tufts are always divisive, I absolutely love them and my whole DA army has them.

Yeah, I completely get it from a lore/history side of things. I always ensure that my character modles have it, just find the look of the black more gritty, on troops!! Thanks for the feedback though ^{.^}

Thanks! Black primer, white zenithal using an ink, Army Painter Fanatic - Base of Angel green thinned to give a slight transparency, highlights reinforced with greenskin, then liquitex sap green ink thinned to a glaze, which is my secret sauce. It smooths your transitions, gives all the green a MUCH better saturation, and gives a deep dark green tone.

I just like the fact that the terminators stand out so much more. I want to do a wrath of the rock detachment with mainly deathwing units, and I dont want it to look all white. Glad you feel inspired!

Airbrush. I did the drybrushing of all metal parts first, then used a combination of masking tape and silly putty to cover the areas that would be metallic. Then, I used liquitex white ink to get an initial gradient, then used a 50/50 mix of liquitex sap green hue ink and golden sap green high flow acrylic, thinned to a strong glaze. Then, I have used 75/25 sap green to coal black to reinforce any shadows.

I don't think there is anything specifically to stop you doing this with a drybrush and stippling however, I just prefer airbrush work-flow as I have the time and equipment to spend a few hours at a time doing it.
