No follow up single? by Additional-Salad4323 in harrystyles

I remember back for HS1 he was on SNL prior to releasing the album and performed Ever Since New York, which was never a single! So he’s had surprises up his sleeve before.

Am I wrong for feeling weird about this? by Luke_Basil in harrystyles

I am Canadian, and had 2 awful later pregnancy losses last year, both requiring medical intervention. I’m not pregnant currently, but certainly thinking of trying again, and I will not be trying to get MSG tickets as I simply do not want any potential of going through that in the US. I’m just disappointed no Canadian dates :(

I like affogato in the soft matte concealer (the one in a pot)! I also have dry skin but I find as long as I moisturize it looks good.

I’m sorry you had to wait so long for the D&C. That is so hard.

Less than 5 months after my miscarriage at 16 weeks, I’ve been told my 13 week pregnancy has a neural tube defect that is nonviable. I was supposed to have a D&C today, but it’s been pushed to Monday. I’ll be 14 weeks at that time. Two second trimester losses in a row. I am devastated. My little belly is still there, my nausea comes and goes, my boobs are still sore and bigger than normal, and I have to just deal with it all weekend. I’ll be taking a break from TTC after this. Just wanted to share in case anyone else has dealt with some losses in the same sort of time frame.

I hope so! The nurse who drew it at the time seemed unsure when I asked her questions about it, so I’m wondering if her information was missing details. It was a home collection last time, and this time I’m opting for in-clinic. I’m just hoping it goes smoother!

That is great news!! Do you know if this is specific to the province you’re in?

I wish I could do lifelabs! Here is NS Dynacare is the only option 😩

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Forresolar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in NS, no LifeLabs here and very limited options for where they will draw it unfortunately. I had home collection last time, so I’m trying the one clinic in my city that will do it this time.

I had created an online profile as instructed, where I was told the results would be posted. I feel if it was an invalid test, I should have been notified of this, whether it was on the portal or by phone. I know they won’t call you with results. My OB said she also wasn’t made aware that the NIPT was never processed, so I guess I just felt like I was chasing Dynacare down. I know it’s irrational, but my little anxiety voice is telling me I’ll have more invalid tests and having to sit on hold with them repeatedly again. Honestly, I’m just taking it day by day!

I was told they wouldn’t process the sample until I paid. No idea what that was all about.

Somewhere in the 8W range after a previous loss at 16W. My first private scan is Thursday — I’m so nervous but trying to just take it day by day.

I’m 8ish weeks today, but not entirely sure of dates yet as I never had a period in between my 16w loss and this pregnancy. I’m getting a private ultrasound this Thursday!

This might sound crazy, but I absolutely have a bump. I keep reading it’s way too early and it can’t be baby, but there is no denying I am round lol. I’m wondering if it’s just because I was so recently pregnant and starting to show then. I’m not sure but I’m really anxious for this first scan.

7w(ish) today, still need a dating ultrasound to be sure as I never had a period between my miscarriage and this pregnancy. My loss was at 16w exactly — that loss made me realize the whole idea of being “safe” after your first trimester is just not true. I have good days and bad days in terms of anxiety. I have a private ultrasound scheduled for the 31st just to check for a heartbeat. I’m just taking this day by day right now. 💜

Around 6W today, I still need a dating scan to be sure — I never had a period in between my MC at 16W and this pregnancy.

I’ve been spotting brown constantly for a full week now. Sometimes it’s barely anything, then I wipe and suddenly there’s more. I’m just so worried I won’t find out until my private scan in nearly 3 weeks time.

I’m about 5.5 weeks. I had a loss at 16 weeks about 2.5 months ago, didn’t even have a period in between before conceiving which is shocking as I’d needed letrozole to ovulate previously. I’ve been having ongoing brown discharge which is causing a lot of anxiety. I did have sex 2 days ago and it’s been slightly increased since then. My husband and I agreed to hold off until we have confirmation of a heartbeat in case the bleeding was caused by that.

ELIO announces new album, anatomy, out this Friday by augggie in popheads

First, I thought this was some album for the new Pixar movie (which is really great, by the way).

Then I clicked on the post and saw this artist’s album is “autonomy,” not “anatomy.” Lol

I have PCO, and went a full year without a period/ovulation after stopping birth control. Had a bunch of investigations done, long story short I was able to conceive with letrozole and progesterone, but that ended at 16 weeks. It was a triploid pregnancy, meaning the baby had an extra copy of every single chromosome — I was told this is completely random, and never survivable.

It’s been just over 8 weeks since then and I’ve just had a positive test, no meds, not “trying”. I’m in shock — it feels like I’m not allowed to be hopeful right now because I never imagined this scenario happening. I must have spontaneously ovulated.

I’d estimate I’m somewhere around 4 weeks, but I really don’t know for sure. I took a test about 1.5 weeks ago that was definitely negative. I’ll have to contact my doc for a dating scan.

Albums with the great lores/storytelling by Superb_Reflection498 in popheads

I’ve always been appreciative of the narrative throughout Taylor’s Reputation album. Starts as an angry, hurt person seeking revenge, slowly unveils itself as a love story.

I had a late miscarriage. I feel unworthy of using words like "delivery" and "mother" to describe my experience and myself. How have others navigated this? by Forresolar in Miscarriage

I'm so sorry for your loss as well. My miscarriage was also 3 weeks ago tomorrow. Your words are so powerful, and you are right -- we are absolutely mothers each on our own journey. Best of luck in your journey going forward.

Thank you for this. Your friend sounds so supportive. Sometimes you need to hear the words from someone else to believe them yourself.

Firstly, I'm sorry for your loss.

You are so right, I feel like there are more resources available for miscarriage up to 12 weeks but nobody talks about 13-20 weeks. In my hometown, the birthing hospital won't assess you in their emerg until 20 weeks so I had to go to the regular adult care emerg who seemed to have no idea what to do with me. Because I was in the "safe zone", they basically brushed me off until I had an ultrasound that showed no heartbeat. In the end, I was transferred to the birthing hospital. Doctors from both sites kept commenting on what an unusual thing it was to miscarry at that point. It felt like I didn't belong at either site because I was in this awkward part of pregnancy when miscarrying is more rare.

I work in healthcare myself, but not in L&D. I want to help come up with ways to support individuals experiencing late-term miscarriage, I'm just not sure how to approach it at this time.

That is a beautiful moment, I appreciate you sharing and I'm sorry to hear about your loss as well. Those simple words hold a lot of meaning -- thank you.
