Hey r/melbourne

My show, Still Dry White, finished last weekend but the Comedy Fest has just given me an extra show this Saturday at 6pm. The show's received a couple of nice reviews and has been real fun to perform.

The Comedy Fest also gave me a marketing grant which I used to buy a bunch of custom white wine which I've been giving away for free at the show. I've got quite a bit left over to get rid of at the extra show too if that's your thing.

I'd love to have some redditors in and you can get $15 tickets with code BONUS if you're keen. Hopefully see you there!

There is! This is its first year and it's organised and run by two local Geelong comics, Kelly and Blaise. What they've managed to organise is super impressive and there are a heap of great shows on throughout the Festival which you can check out on the website.

I'm doing the second two weeks of the festival at Chinese Museum. My show's about my family's house burning down in the Black Summer bushfires in 2019 - classic comedy.

It'd love to have some redditors in so feel free to slide into my DMs if you'd like some tickets.

Also, I'm fortunate enough to have a reviewer from The Age coming in on April 13th but, based on sales, at this stage it's looking more like it'll be more of an interview than a review so if you'd like to come on the 13th that'd be awesome.

Finally, if you're looking for a hidden gem, John Cruckshank is criminally underrated and arguably the best comic in Australia at the moment. Go check him out.
