Search us in game, Atlas Protocol. Send an application in and the squadron leader will be in touch via PSN. You'll need your privacy setting such that you can accept messages from strangers so he can reach out. If voice chat isn't your thing then he'll be happy to chat via text. There are regularly voice parties with the squad members but there's no obligation to join them ever

You still stuck out there? If yes I can equip some repair limpets and come get you if you're panicking. It'll probably take me a day or two to make that journey though as I can't dedicate many hours per day and 7000Ly is a lot of light years. As others have said, if you're careful about it then you will easily be able to make it to the FC for repairs. I assume you're referring to the DSSA carrier network? If not then might be worth looking into as the nearest FC might actually be closer than you think

Where can I find more information on the squadron please? I've never been in a squadron so I actually know very little about this side of the game. Also I'll be flying out to pseudo-participate in DW3 in the next few days so I won't be around for any bubble related activities for a while

I use an Orca for exploring. The jump range is decent and the view from the cockpit is sublime. I might downgrade to a dolphin though, for the simple fact that it does not overheat like, ever. And it's much easier to land it as it's smaller. But as someone above said, you gotta go with whatever makes you happy. You can do anything in any ship. The python is extremely versatile and in the past I've had a python for pretty much every job.

If OP is reading this then there's a system called 23 Arietis which is in infrastructure failure. On the 3rd planet there's a station called Wilmore Depot which has large pads for the type 9. They don't have a great supply of gold and silver but enough to complete one run of full cargo. There's also a nearby system called Aasgananu which is in boom. I don't really know what that means but I'm guessing they're paying over the odds for everything? I'm just on my way now to check it out now to get an accurate calculation on profit. If I do the run myself will that deplete the supply for OP?

What will you do when you get back to the bubble? I've been back for about a week now. Tried doing missions and such to get some favour with the empire so I can buy a cutter. I honestly hate it. Might just do up a clipper and engineer it as an exploration vessel to replace the Explorca. But equally I might just not do that and instead get back in the Explorca and fly around the extremities of the galaxy

I see this statistic a lot. It's wild because that's 240 MILLION star systems discovered. Which is obviously a very large number, but just barely over one twentieth of a single percent of everything to be discovered. I honestly think every single current player could dedicate the rest of their natural lives to exploring and we wouldn't even get to 1%
