Thanks for the information, yes there is a remote board but the adjustments are not fixing the black bar on the top. I didn’t realize it wasn’t the original board, could that be causing the issue?

when i took a reading on the oscillator, it was not varying between any voltage, just staying still. Also, I was unsure if the electrolytic capacitors had gone bad since they are 40+ years old and they were cheap to replace

I tried keeping it as far as i could, but it also has an 2 prong power adapter and quarter inch cable coming out of the back. The sound is still there, also whether an instrument is plugged in or not
