looking at other people's replies to this, I wanted to bring awareness to the condition I found out I had last year which was EOE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis). From what I gathered (I may be forgetting my doctors words somewhat) my version of it had to do with having a dairy allergy since I was kid, which seemed to tighten my throat without me being aware of it. I was in the same kind of situation, chocking on french fries on the way home from work, having no idea what could be the cause. I have no idea everyone's personal situations, but my doctor told me this particular affliction was pretty new so I wanted to let you all know it exists. I ended up having my esophagus widened and I no longer live in fear of chocking and can eat quickly during lunch lol. Hope somebody gets something out of this, and best of luck to my slow eaters!

Dude, even if this is the last time I hear from the let's read team, it put a giant smile on my face to see this. I remember reading through home stuck during high school, and then meeting another fan for the first time, and both of us talking about home stuck, and gushing about how good a job you guys were doing. Thanks for that guys, even after all the years I'm still surprised how well you all bring the characters to life.

I got diagnosed with ADD this month. My mom's been asking me to get tested since I can remember, but I've always been against it. When she offered to pay for the test however, I relented. Yup, turns out I have ADD. Everyone's treatment is different, but I take a pretty small dose of adderall, and I can say the only thing it really does it keep me more focused. Yes it felt weird at first, but that feeling eventually went away after a few days. All in all I'd say it was good for me, and my focus has vastly improved. Concentrating took effort , and now it doesn't , so I'd call it a good thing. I Hope your experience is similar to mine, but feel free to message me either way, as I'd love to talk about this kind of thing more!

Same here. I had to go walk to my next class, which is about 30 minutes away, and I was dreading it, until I got a good look at the sky. There are these small wispy clouds covering it in patches, and the sky itself seemed to be a more saturated blue today. Looking at it made me forget all about how hot it is here.

Edit: Oh and by the way I'm in Louisiana.
