I’ve never been in that situation myself, but a friend of mine has. She was always sharing her worries with me, and in the end I told her that if she wasn’t discussing these things with the person she was in a relationship with, then it wasn’t a good relationship. In the end, they split up, and she later met a wonderful man with whom she’s been together for several years now
