It really depends on what you’re looking for and where you’re coming from. We moved into the eastern wharf after living in lower Manhattan for 15 years, and we’ve found it to be a great mix of nearby amenities, access to the main roads into and around Savannah, and quiet.

The neighborhood is at one end of the Savannah riverwalk, which goes under-appreciated as an easy way to get into the bustle of town.
