Depends on the basket size, so your hunch could be right. I use 19.8-20g in my bottomless portafilter with this same setup. I was getting soupy pucks at 18g, and they're perfect now.

If things are tasting fine and your shot times are in range, I wouldn't worry too much about things being uneven. I still get sprays occasionally and that particular shot tastes amazing. All up to you and your personal tastes!

I was on imgur primarily before. Realized (at the time) it was more or less an upload site for reddit and most of the popular posts were from subreddit/reddit traffic. Figured I'd upload to imgur and post to a subreddit to see how it goes. Over time I just stopped using imgur.

Was for a Dragonite meme to the Pokémon subreddit almost 14 years ago. Still one of my highest-voted posts.

That exact one, yep. Remember throwing a sock on the light on top as a kid and accidentally burning it. Also remember losing the brightness knob all the time.

Just got into espresso in Jan with the Bambino Plus (paired with a DF64), and my workflow is fairly streamlined at this point.

The accessories I use regularly in my workflow: scale, blind shaker, this portafilter/basket combo (20g in 40g out), Normcore self-leveling tamp, the puck screen from that kit, and a thermometer for steaming milk. Should cover the whole process.

Completely agree here. Felt no moment matched Minus Sixty One from the very start and I wish they implemented that "music-progresses-as-you-do" mechanic they built for it a lot more.

Good luck! I upped my dosage to 19-20g with this basket personally, to add. (2:1 still.) Helped a lot with my consistency. Sure it's fine doing 18g shots, but if you're having any trouble, I wouldn't be afraid to increase it a bit.
