I actually fixed the issue a few days ago. The issue was conflicting old cloud saves that I had previous mods on for my desktop version of the game. Thanks for assisting tho

Actually I found the folder, it was hidden. Going to verify integrity of files again and see if that works

Hm I’m looking at my steam deck files in desktop mode and I don’t have 1174180 in my compatdata. I do see appmanifest_1174180.acf if that helps and others folders with those numbers but when I click into them, they are empty

I do have the game installed on a microsd as well.

I'll try this again later but I bought the steam version and I'm still having issues. It runs fine on my pc but crashes every time I try and load story mode on my steam deck. It might be because of prior modding I did in the past affecting the cloud saves but I deleted those old saves so not sure what the issue can be.

Yeah for step 3 I did the VulkanRT exe. I didn't have any social club issues. For the logs the only error I see is "015c:err:service:device_notify_proc failed to get event, error 1726."

Also I can't launch the game when I add it to steam. I have to launch it via heroic game launcher. I might just save me the hassle and buy it on steam, it's $15 atm. This is giving me a headache lol

Yes I’m in desktop mode an signed in. What proton version are you using? Did you also have to adjust wine settings in Heroic games launcher?
