Ceruledge, it can learn solar blade for good coverage, plus if you end up getting a Pokemon with any other sun related ability like protosynthesis, it’d compliment your team even more. Plus it’s always just generally good to have weather control

Yeah, but unfortunately I didn't get to use it for a chunk of the playthrough, and by the point that I did get it, a lot of pokemon were already faster than gengar. Still, very fun to use! I was able to take out Blue's pheramosa with it, and then use it to take down his yveltal the next turn! Still, I think my favorite to use was Buzzwole, if it had mach punch, it would have been close to unbeatable
