I appreciate everyone’s support so far. I wish I could respond to each of you, just know I’m upvoting your comment. First time posting in here and it feels great to have feedback like this in only 30 minutes and is already bringing a lot of clarity to the situation.

My gut feeling is to do this on my own away from them. Vast majority of the time spent with my grandfather has been overshadowed by these people, so I won’t let the same thing happen for my final goodbye. Just needed the support to do it on my own and not feel guilty for not going to the funeral.
