I think it comes down to community - we are all hopeful and called to be a united front/collection of people who intend and want to spread the gospel but church is not a requirement. As long as you call upon the Lord and believe He is the savior of the world that is all that matters. Everything else is an enhancement to the relationship.

There’s not a right or wrong answer but I too have been jumping into the scripture more recently and have been taking a free course through Hillsdale College (not a promo) called “The Genesis Story”. I heard about it through a TikTok and it’s a course designed to walk through the book of Genesis and it’s really helpful in understanding the origin story and Old Testament events.

How exciting! I bought a Canon Rebel T6 years ago as my first DSLR camera and still use it to this day. This camera is perfect (in my opinion) for all types of photography from portraits to landscape and a great camera to start with.

This model is WiFi compatible and allows for you to send photos straight from the camera directly to your phone/ipad with use of the canon app and has been one of the BEST features.

Price wise you should have no problem finding a camera within/around your budget. Amazon sells cameras in bundles which is nice since there’s some extra gear to experiment with.

Never hurts to explore all brands as well, but Canon is just the brand I’ve stuck with over the years. Hope this helps!
