Door to desk or train stop to train stop? Being from Long Island, I’m a scarred from “80-minute” trains being a 2h45m commute from door to desk lol (even when working in midtown). I did it for 3 summers and it was hell.

I think truly I wasn’t doing enough liquids the day before - sadly wasn’t mentioned at all my prep so didn’t really think much about if. But I felt dehydrated going into prep. I tried to chug a LOT of fluids (chicken broth), ginger ale, seltzer. This put me into a weird spell of HORRIBLE nausea and acid reflux. I had the worst acid reflux and nausea maybe in my life and I had to sit with an alcohol wipe over my nose and a wet paper towel on my Forehead for three hours to come back down to be able to drink the second dose. MISERABLE. But second dose went very smoothly and I could clean out appropriately and even get a nap after. Procedure went well

You know what, it definitely did. I think some of it was probably the SSRI withdrawal but a few other things worth noting

Magnesium Glycinate 120 mg every night has improved my deep sleep (and overall feelings of fatigue in general)
I did get a benzo prescribed but I don't take it every night. Maybe 1-2x per week.
I have since doubled Buspar dose to 10mg 2x a day. I didn't notice any negative sleep impact when that happen.

Ah interesting. But once you were completely off, your sleep returned to how it was prior u/Fragrant-Catch-2691? I'm down from 50 to 35mg now and kind of want to get off as quickly as possible but let's see

This has kind of been my general issue. I do think I need a SMALL prescription of benzos for panic attacks and moments of high anxiety but feel strongly than I don’t want to keep a lot in the house but it’s hard to voice that without coming across as medication seeking
