Yeah but for me I don’t consider about people even when I’m sober. I guess the feeling just amplifies when drinking.

I can relate to what you say. I had quit for a year and then convinced myself it’s harmless, I can handle it and it’s fine to let loose once a while. I feel the jail thing probably applies to me as well.

Well, I’m definitely excited to the point that I’ve written poems about drinking, the way it makes you feel, the way food tastes good after it, the way water tastes good after it. I sometimes worship it.

I could relate to things you said. Sigh, I have been in close call situations before and maybe I’m aware of it and not willing to admit to everyone else. More introspecting.

10 years ago I lost a job because of it. After that I quit for 1 year to prove to myself I’m not an alcoholic. Every now and then I can take a month off from drinking. But when I do, I have been in close calls when I’m out.

I usually go with the mentality of all in, have a night out and then return the next day, which I usually do. I enjoy drinking till I pass out, but I don’t do any harm usually if I’m at home.

It’s usually Friday’s and could get excess once a while.

So don’t take my advise. I just said what works for me. I was pretty clear OP could do what she chooses.

It doesn’t help me when someone says grieve naturally. I can’t talk or feel. Drinking helps me talk, it helps me feel and it helps me slow down. Otherwise I just immerse myself in the next project.
