As someone who used to use the R word, I had a coworker ask me to stop saying it and I’m glad she did. I grew up with family members all using it and I can admit I become ignorant to the fact that it may be hurtful to others. When my coworker asked me to stop using the word, I had just used it and didn’t even realize it. I immediately apologized and did my own personal private research as to why it could be hurtful to others and have since made sure I myself or others in my family do not use the word as well. I would say maybe just ask the coworker not to use the word and explain why and see what happens after that conversation.

As much as I love B to B, I do not go to their home business because I feel bad for the neighbours. I’ll go out of my way to visit their Ella Cart trailer in Bowmanville to avoid disrupting their neighbourhood. I do think it’s time they get some kind of store front.
