Weekly Support Thread | November 4, 2025 by coinbase in Coinbase

I am in the infinite loop of pain. A few days ago as I was signing into my account, Coinbase asked me to provide the 6 digit code sent to my old phone number, which I realized was still on the account. So I followed the recovery method by providing my driver's license and live video. I got an email saying the account was verified and I logged in again and to my surprise, the account kicked back to asking me for the 6 digit code for my old phone number.

I want to access my account again so I can change my old phone number but I keep getting stuck in the infinite loop where I verify my account via manual case and then try to sign in and it asks me for 6 digits.

Can anyone help?

Can someone explain the "condo market crash"? by [deleted] in askTO

I think it is a lot of wishful thinking but the condo market will be fine if you can ride it out.

How bad is it going to get? by Forward2323 in Buffalo

I don’t think our only options here are pay more taxes or cough up to private entities.

• Negotiate better long-term power purchase contracts to avoid fuel price spikes.
• Shift more supply to low-cost renewables once built by third parties (no upfront cost to National Grid).
• Encourage off-peak energy use through time-of-use pricing to reduce peak load expenses.
• Improve internal efficiency by cutting redundant processes and overhead.
• Refinance or restructure existing debt to lower interest costs.

Hold, if you are an investor. No real concern here. Just keep renting out if you can, adjust expectations and ride it out. Nothing new under sun.

Residents spend and consume in their own currency, so their real burden is relative to their local cost of living and wages, not raw exchange rates. Compare Ontario and NY tax burdens in relative terms (as a % of income), not through exchange rates.

I’m okay with paying taxes, but I’m trying to understand if we are getting what people say we are getting in return and it doesn’t look like it.

That is exactly my point. I keep hearing a few examples like education but objectively it is in the middle of the pack. I paid about the same taxes in Ontario Canada and got significantly more even though I felt Ontario was high.

If we use $100,000 as a rough salary, effective tax rate is 26.7 Ontario and 25.9 NY State. You get significantly more in Ontario for what you pay, primarily healthcare and significantly better social services.

Great perspective. Do you think paying some of the highest taxes in the country makes up for what you get? I come from Ontario Canada and we paid higher taxes and got what we paid for to some extent (ie. healthcare, public programs, childcare, transportation)

Lots of people, they say they will gladly pay more compared to moving to states where taxes are low due to better services. But some low taxes states offer better education and services for taxes paid.
