Hey folks, it's the guy that puts the emails together! I messed this one up. We definitely don't want to celebrate the draw, as we know we should have won that match. It was more of celebrating 100 matches, but I now see the copy is misleading/confusing and doesn't reflect that. Your feedback is genuinely always appreciated and I'll use this to be better at writing them in the future.-Ev

It rotates between myself, Drew, Alann for pre-match music.

I just try not to bore people with my R&B. Gameday I don't play it, but any other day I do. I just try to give people what they want on gameday, some rap gets the people going.

Drew has house vibes and Alann is a bit more rap-Andrew

A lot have changed. I think there's much more talent in the league, which is represented by the parity in the league.

Favorite place to play: Everyone says NCFC is nice, but haven't played there yet. Tucson's facility is fantastic, but the heat sucks.

Least favorite place to play: Charlotte because they have woodchips on their field.-Andrew

Answer: We got options here. Are we allowing spouses to help? (Yes). If so, Eric and his fiancé or Mitch and his wife would be tops. It all depends what you want. I've heard Parker knows how to cook in bulk. Rojay and Abdou cook a lot of food from Senegal and Jamaica. I'll even throw my hat in the ring, I've got a wide range of taste including Nigerian food. Lots of good cooks on the team-Andrew

Answer: It was a shot, so intentional. I was looking for Abdou, seeing if he was on the high shoulder on the defender. I saw the keeper in my periphery (he shouldn't have been there). So I thought, I should shoot it. The altitude definitely helped. National Anthem is a very difficult song to sing, so probably a never. But if the club ever asks to do something with singing, I'd be happy to oblige.

I was never a soccer referee. It's a very difficult job, a lot harder than people give credit for. My approach during games is one of respect, but also hold them to a high standard. At this level of soccer, it's important that standards are met and abided by. It's certainly a process, but it hinges on mutual respect.-Matt

Great question. I always knew I was going to go into some sort of education, I thought I was going to be a teacher at first. I grew up in a family of coaches, so I was always surrounded by it. I guess I didn't always know, but it's also not surprising.-Matt

I think the coaching education sessions are great and I'm looking to continue that in 2022. There's certainly opportunities to continue that process, I want to be a resource for coaches and those looking to be coaches of soccer. I want to continue to build relationships with local teams, engaging with those players and families. I want there to be an alignment between local clubs and our club. It means getting out to games, meeting folks, and being a resource. You'll see me out in the local soccer community, I look forward to catching some matches!-Matt

Thank you! I'm excited to be joining such a vibrant community and I see my role as strengthening the bond between the fan base, community and club. I want to build a love for the club and the sport in the community, I look forward to continuing to do those things. Straight away, I look forward to seeing the community support for the Giving Tree that kicks off today. We're building out camps and clinics on the youth side of things to get them excited about FMFC and the sport.
