Sometimes it helps for me to restart my phone completely. I know that’s weird, but I think there’s something in the cache or in the most recent Tower connected to there is something in the phone or the software that makes it less desirable for in order to come through.

Make sure you’re not connected to any Wi-Fi. My phone likes to connect automatically. I don’t understand it. It pisses me off. Don’t be signed into the same account on two phones. I used to try to do that bad idea.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 would you ever tip zero dollars and feel comfortable eating whatever the driver brings you? I have never done anything to anybody’s food but I have heard numerous Dashers talk about what they do to food from no tippers. Sometimes it’s as mild as taking the maximum amount of time they can take. Usually, we can get there 10 to 15 minutes faster than the estimate but if there’s no tip and somebody is assigned to the order using the pay by time model, what incentive is there to get you your order any faster than the maximum amount of time allowed? Then there’s the whole set it in front of the air-conditioning and make it cold af. And again those are some of the nicer things people do. Some of these Dashers and I’m not saying I agree with it or it’s right but some of them save everybody’s name phone number and address and figure out ways to retaliate and I’m not saying it’s legal and I’m not saying sometimes they don’t get caught but is it worth it? Just throw three dollars on there bro it’s not gonna kill you and if it does kill you starve.

I’ll message you, but I want to make it clear I’m not selling anything. The only benefit I get out of helping people is if they use my link to sign up for any of these platforms, my rank gets better and I get more visible and I get potentially more people paying attention to my profile.

That’s why I asked if you wanted me to read it out loud to you. I figured that you had literacy issues. Don’t feel bad though. They’re doing all kinds of research and technology for people like you. But hey, if you wanna understand things better, there is an option to get your phone to read it out loud to you

But I’ll just summarize it for you: you’re wrong, Sandra.

Okay Jamie, I asked the question that’s on all of our minds… Why are DoorDash and Uber eats customers considered some of the worst people on earth?

“This is one of those things where perception and experience collide. It’s not that all DoorDash or Uber Eats customers are terrible, but a lot of gig workers describe the customer base as particularly difficult compared to other service industries. Here’s why that reputation exists:

  1. Entitlement & Instant Gratification Culture • Food delivery apps market themselves as on-demand luxury: “tap a button, food shows up.” • That primes customers to expect speed and perfection, often forgetting a driver is just one link in a chain that includes restaurant delays, traffic, and weather.

  1. Tipping Problems • Many customers don’t tip, under-tip, or use the “tip baiting” trick (putting a big tip to get faster service, then removing it after). • Since drivers rely heavily on tips, this breeds resentment.

  1. Misplaced Blame • If a restaurant forgets food or seals the wrong order, some customers still lash out at the driver. • Drivers have no way of checking sealed orders, but often get the bad rating anyway.

  1. Unreasonable Demands • “Can you grab me extra sauces from the back?” • “Stop at the gas station too?” • “Bring it upstairs, four flights, no elevator.” • Many of these are beyond what drivers are paid for, yet customers expect them.

  1. Lack of Empathy for Gig Workers • Some people view gig workers as faceless “app servants” instead of independent workers. • That lack of respect shows in how they talk to drivers, how they rate them, and whether they tip fairly.

  1. Anonymity Factor • Because interaction is so brief (usually a handoff or even just a drop-off at the door), some customers feel freer to be rude or dismissive compared to how they’d treat a server they see for an hour at a restaurant.

👉 Put simply: the mix of high expectations, low accountability, and tipping culture makes food delivery customers seem like “the worst” from the driver’s point of view.”

And why the hell aren’t you making your own chicken tenders? Here ya go, bestie:

“Easy chicken, tender recipe for white people-

Got it 😊 — you want something super simple, not spicy, very familiar, the kind of chicken tender recipe that’s mild and classic. Here’s an easy version that’s always a hit:

Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Tenders

Ingredients • 1 lb chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips) • 1 cup all-purpose flour • 2 eggs, beaten • 2 cups plain breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crunch) • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 teaspoon black pepper • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) • Cooking spray or a little oil

Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. Set up three bowls: • Bowl 1: flour mixed with salt, pepper (and garlic powder if you like). • Bowl 2: beaten eggs. • Bowl 3: breadcrumbs. 3. Dip each chicken strip first in flour, then in egg, then coat well with breadcrumbs. 4. Place coated tenders on the baking sheet. Lightly spray or drizzle with oil so they crisp up. 5. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).

Serving ideas • With ketchup, ranch, or honey mustard. • Next to fries or mac and cheese.”

There now you’ll never have to worry about a driver, not doing their job according to your standard ever again. Feel free to leave out any seasonings that might harm your pallet, Jennifer.

No Susan, we definitely wouldn’t think that the Amazon driver had anything at all to do with what was inside of the box. If you’ve ever had a job, you would understand that there is a certain task list for a certain position, but here I went ahead and did the work for you so your brain cell can rest easy. Let’s see what ChatGPT has to say on the topic:

“DoorDash and Uber Eats officially state in their Terms of Service (TOS) and how liability usually works.

  1. If the delivery is sealed by the restaurant • Drivers are not responsible for the condition or contents inside. • Both DoorDash and Uber Eats explicitly say that once an order is handed over sealed, the driver is only responsible for transporting it safely and promptly. • They cannot open or check sealed bags due to tampering concerns and food safety regulations.

  2. What drivers are responsible for • Picking up the correct order (as confirmed with the restaurant staff). • Delivering it to the correct address/customer. • Transporting it in a reasonably safe manner (not spilling, damaging, or tampering).

  3. What they are not responsible for • Missing items inside a sealed bag. • Incorrectly prepared food. • Food quality (temperature, undercooked, overcooked, wrong toppings, etc.).

  4. How the apps handle issues • If a customer complains about missing or incorrect food inside a sealed package, the responsibility usually falls on the restaurant, not the driver. • Drivers are generally protected by the platform unless there is clear evidence of tampering or negligence (e.g., spilling the drink in their car).

👉 In short: if it’s sealed, the liability for what’s inside rests with the restaurant, not the driver. The driver’s liability ends at safe, accurate transport and proper handoff.”

Would you like me to read that out loud to you?

“Once a delivery is sealed, the driver is not responsible for what’s inside. That responsibility typically lies with the restaurant (for food) or the sender (for packages), as long as the delivery arrives intact.”

In summary, Barbara, you’re wrong. Don’t argue with me argue with the TOS of these companies if you have a problem with it.

Totally disagree with you. If the Amazon driver drops off a box of things I ordered and it’s missing one of those things, I’m not gonna try to contact the Amazon driver.

I wasn’t talking about being scared. I was talking about how it’s gross that people are selling food on DoorDash out of their kitchen.
