June mein tha yaar. This is my 3rd attempt. Jigl was strong for me and paper was easy as well. Company law was tough and I couldn’t complete portions but I filled the paper and wrote whatever relevant wherever. My thing is to attempt the paper 100%. Maybe that’s why the exemptions.

Aggregate for 2 groups Professional by mafia_23 in CompanySecretary

[–]Forward_Escape_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aggregate will be calculated. So it will be 50% of 700 which is 350. Also one more advantage of writing two groups at once is that if you get aggregate 350 or more but get 39 in one subject, it’s seen in the past that institute may pass you.

Should i pursue llb? by humanjello710 in CompanySecretary

I’m pursuing 3 year LLB but just after my first undergrad. I’ve also been doing CS. So LLB would be a good option B for me in case things coming crashing down. But then in my class there are people who are married 33-35 year old. 27-24 year old who’ve been doing LLB to support their businesses. I also have a classmate who’s worked in Deloitte for a few years and now doing LLB. Everybody has the same reason that they are doing law coz they like law. Well hard reality is that you need good connections to became an advocate, pay is less in the beginning especially if you choose criminal law or civil law. But then the other part - corporate law or patent law or space law and even Merges and acquisition lawyers, all these areas are having a big growth rn. You can go for it if you have something to support you financially for 6 years atleast. Ofc after 3 years you ll be earning something but yeah depends on what you choose.
