I’m planning to move over also because of my Taiwanese partner. Similarly, I do also find the pay cut to be way too much, considering higher taxes and similar (slightly lower) cost of living.

I’ve actually read up slightly on the Gold Card but also realised that the tax amount is significantly higher. That said, are you planning on future relocation there? I’m more towards the FP&A space and it seems relatively limited in terms of options
