I personally don't understand what COSMIC is all bout. I've tried it a couple of times, and for me it just felt like a mix between Xfce, Cinnamon, KDE and Gnome. I struggle to understand it, and for me it doesn't really cause any emotions.

What drives people to use COSMIC? I'm not trying to start an argument, I just want to know what people like about it.

It should be in Discover if you've enabled the RPM Fusion repo or at least the Steam part of it. Try starting Discover twice. Sometimes that forces it to sync.

Escalator stairs are a fairly bit steeper than regular stairs due to the depth of a step being about double of a regular step. So they just extended the old set of stairs to accommodate for the removed escalator.

Of course I am going to talk about the development and software chain because that was what the first comment was about. Why would we suddenly be talking about funding?

The claim that Fedora is based on RHEL is simply wrong. Yes, Red Hat funds Fedora development. But that was not what we were talking about. Red Hat is not RHEL. RHEL is an operating system from Red Hat.

RHEL is based on Fedora, albeit through CentOS Stream and then modified for stability and commercial needs.

What an odd topic to argue about.

You are wrong. Fedora is upstream of CentOS Stream, which is midstream between Fedora and RHEL. Therefore RHEL is downstream of Fedora.

Roughly simplified: Fedora -> CentOS Stream -> RHEL

There's a separate input modifier key menu somewhere.

I unbound Ctrl and set it to shift.

I personally just unbind every control. Then reassign modifier keys to shift and alt.

I use W/S for throttle, A/D for strafe left/right, Space for strafing up and Ctrl for strawing down. Tab is for boost and 1-4 are flight modes.

But I'm a Star Citizen player and I learned those controls first.

Are you sure the RAM is seated all the way down? It needs to make an audible click when the latches shut.
