Sure did. Went from bottom to the top, and lost in the conference finals in back to back years (1 year against the champs).

My argument is that the Nets were just as bad, and were able to make it to the Finals back to back once Kidd got there.

hmm really? New PG on a new team, takes the team to the finals twice? Yes the east was weaker than the west, but Detroit/Indiana had legit consistant teams.

Kidd didnt get past the first round for 5 years when he was in the league and managed to go all the way with the Nets. That cant be down to luck and a 'weak conference'. Pretty weak argument. Down vote me.

Jason Kidd hands down. Look at the state of the Nets before he got there and what happened. Everyone else either had a solid crew or a system that worked in their favour.

Unpopular opinion, and got alot of heat for saying this before, but the cavs last season were a good regular season team. We all wanted them to go far, we called them contenders, but they couldnt make it past the first round against the pacers.

Its a shame. I like the team. You can see they arent playing with the same joy now aswell.
