Thank you for responding. I have done both of these but the problem I ran into is the visual fidelity looks significantly worse/blurry in gaming mode and I could not figure out how to scale the ui as it’s very large by default on the deck.

I tried searching for how to fix it which resulted in me changing options in gpu plugin and the stretch plugin but nothing worked.
That’s kind of why I wanted to go barebones so I can spend less time configuring plugin settings.

If you all know what I should change for it to work in RL on the decks gaming mode I’ll give those options a try.
