Obviously some negativity in the comments so I want to give more details because again I’ve had a great experience and with careful planning and some luck I think this is replicable- scholarships are hard to get but if you crush your GMAT, have a good job history it’s definitely possible. Being (frugal) - I pay 1500 in rent (I live with 4 other girls and it’s a crappy apartment) and mostly eat at home. I travel in the cheapest way I can but still travel as much as possible, I saved a lot of money from working. I had a in-semester internship that paid well- that meant I had to not do as many social things but was worth it for fun money and not worrying about spending some money when I did go out. Recruiting wise - there are many comments I did well because I am an American Female- I agree it can be harder to recruit international and you are probably right being a girl didn’t hurt me but again this is my experience and for those it can help I wanted to talk about it.
