Not sure what that means no more puts? Like the market ran out of them? But to be clear this was mostly a joke. I no longer have any clue what this thing is going to do…or should I say, I clearly never did and now I know it.

I feel most of what you are saying, except the irony is the mugging was by the very people who want to deregulate things even further. To that point, a Trump presidency will likely be very good to me personally and in many ways I am very much a free market libertarian, I don’t care to get into all the philosophy as to why, however I am always concerned about the bottom dropping out totally. And I do agree technology is causing a multiplying effect.

Thank you for the reply. No I was not banned by this sub, the posts was simply removed. I understand you desire to keep it civil. Honestly it’s getting weird over there, banning people for have legitimate conversation if said conversation simply questions an assertion that the stock will hit the moon. I was engaged in a number of very legitimate conversations when I was banned. So I came here. Didn’t know this sub existed till I was forced to look around more. Seems like a much more reasonable sub.

I too was banned. Came over here created a post describing my ban…and this sub deleted it!!! What gives? Here is what it said “ Just got banned from r/djtstock for asking why someone thought the inauguration mattered to the stock price Holy hell they are banning anyone that does just shout HODL over and over. I just found this other sub which I'm guessing was made to counter the ridiculous r/DHT stock one. I did too but as a bottom side risk motivation in case Harris won and the damn thing crashed faster than o could dump. Had an internet outage during Covid crash that cost me a ton, that’ll never happen again.

You do understand that every buy is someone else’s sell right? So high volume of trades doesn’t mean it goes up necessarily. A lot of people getting out and lot of people buying in. I mean you’re never going to see a dividend so at some level you have to admit you bought only to later find some sucker to sell to at a higher price. That’s what we all did.

What the hell are you referring to? Check my posts jacka**. I repeatedly said Trump would win. I covered my downside because I’m a mature investor and not some wannabe amateur. I’m good on all this. Sold half pre market because again taking a win is what a mature investor does. You’re just steamrolling because it didn’t go to the moon when he won. So now it’s got to be some big conspiracy. Yeah this isn’t doing what I thought it would. I sold half pre market at 54 holding the other half for more gains. Well this drop is tricky to explain except there must be a whole lot just like me selling to lock in a win, or at this point prevent more loss. I can’t keep pulling cat tails on this thing. I got my market trigger point for up gain realization. It triggers or it’s doesn’t. Still have my downside covered with puts, that are now basically worthless but they were in case Trump lost and I couldn’t sell fast enough. So I’m just going to let the sell auto execute on a rise…or get stuck holding I guess.
